“Pastor Hezekiah Cleveland and First Lady Samantha are leaders of the New Testament Cathedral in Los Angeles, CA, a mega-church that is televised worldwide and boast a congregation of over 10,000 members. The powerful couple is envied by many and their selfish motives are often played out in their own home. Samantha wants very much to be the Pastor of New Testament Cathedral, but her unfaithful husband stands in her way. Hezekiah is not living the holy life of a pastor. He meets an advocate for the homeless who are protesting the building of a new, bigger and more expensive edifice for New Testament. He doesn’t count on his relationship with the homeless advocate to grow into the scandalous affair that ensues; one that if his congregants get wind of, will surely destroy his leadership at New Testament. There is a varied cast of characters who each want the Clevelands out of the church for their own reasons. As each executes their own agenda, a chain of events is set off that includes betrayal, infidelity and murder.

COME SUNDAY MORNING, the debut offering of Terry Hill, is not Christian fiction, but more so a fiction story set in a church setting; although this type of behavior in churches is becoming more commonly known. The book contained characters that were flawed and motivated by their own reasoning. Both Hezekiah and Samantha’s characters were strong in their convictions, which presented situations where the best decisions did not often prevail. A very well-written page-turner, the book foretells of a sequel that I will definitely be picking up.”

“I love this book. I didn’t know this book was a trilogy until I checked out book two “When Next Sunday Comes” from the library. While reading book two I could tell something had happened, but I didn’t know what or how it got to Pastor Walker being murdered and when I finished the book I knew it was more. So I went online to find out how the rest of the story would end and that’s when I found out about book 1 and book 3 so I ordered book 1 and 3... can’t wait to finish... I love this book!!!!!

“I have read all four of Mr. Hill’s books. All four were page turners. I normally read for pleasure and before going to sleep. But ALL of Mr. Hill’s books are page turners. I can’t put it down until I read the entire book.

I really enjoyed The Committee. Mr. Hill did a terrific job in tying the main characters together. Although the books are fictitious, it create a good scenario of how power can work in the real world.

Keep up the good work and writing. I anxiously awaits the sequel to The Committee.”
